Veronica graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry at the Queensland University of Technology in 2019, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Bachelor of Health Studies. Veronica is passionate about holistic health care and understands the role foot health plays in a patient’s overall health. She believes that truly listening and considering all aspects of a patient’s life can result in better treatment outcomes.

She enjoys working in all areas of Podiatry, with a particular interest in diabetic foot care and sports biomechanics and injuries. She appreciates the challenge of these cases, however, she enjoys seeing all kinds of patients as a mixed load keeps her day interesting. As a result, she is well versed in all podiatric areas of the routine nail and skin care, orthotic therapy, paediatrics and dermatology.

Veronica has completed additional training in Shockwave Therapy which she has utilised to produce fantastic results for the treatment of Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Tendinopathy. In addition, Veronica is also trained in dry needling, also known as trigger point needling. She continues to expand her knowledge by attending regular Continued Professional Development information sessions which cover various podiatry topics.

Veronica is from Malaysia and whilst at University, she worked at private Podiatry clinic in the high-end and expat-oriented area in Malaysia which she thoroughly enjoyed. She misses Malaysia and hopes that one day she will return to her hometown and raise awareness for the Podiatry profession.
