Grace graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Doctor of podiatric Medicine in 2018. She graduated with Distinction and was awarded the Dean’s Prize in Podiatric Medicine, which is a prize awarded to the graduating student with the highest course weighted average mark. Whilst studying, Grace completed clinical placements in Perth (Archrite Podiatry, Bentley Health Service, Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service, Fiona Stanley Hospital, Fremantle Hospital, Perth Children’s Hospital, Royal Perth Hospital, and Sir Charles Gardiner) and Singapore (East Coast Podiatry, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital). Prior to this, Grace also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2015 specialising in a Biomedical Science double major (Pathology and LaboratoryMedicine) from the same university.

Grace has gained valuable experience working in both private and public health sectors in Perth and Singapore. Since graduating, she has completed further training and is skilled in providing dry needling, electroacupuncture, joint mobilisation, Swift therapy, and shock wave therapy. Grace also provides general podiatry services such as routine nail care, removal of corns and calluses, fungal nail and skin treatment, wart treatment, orthotic therapy (custom and off-the-shelf), and footwear education. She continues to expand her knowledge by regularly attending professional development seminars on topics such as podiatric surgery, advancements in orthotic prescription and footwear, medical-grade footwear prescription, optimisation of running biomechanics, barefoot rehabilitation, and cancer rehabilitation.

Grace has a keen interest in all aspects of podiatry, especially in the treatment of ingrown toenails (conservative and surgical), musculoskeletal conditions (e.g. Morton’s neuromas, heel pain, Achilles tendinopathy) and the management of patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes (via neurovascular assessments and comprehensive education for the prevention or management of associated foot complications). Having experience working in hospitals, Grace is also proficient in the management of high-risk feet in patients with diabetes, renal disease, and other conditions that may cause peripheral vascular impairment.

In her spare time, Grace enjoys keeping fit, doing indoor rock climbing, and visiting local cafes and farmer’s markets. Grace would love to assist you with any podiatric needs and will strive to help you achieve your treatment goals.
