Chris Pocklington - Podiatrist

Dr Christian Pocklington is a Western Australian-trained surgeon who has completed training as a specialist podiatric surgeon. He currently holds dual registration with AHPRA as a sports podiatrist.

He has special interests in sports injuries, biomechanics and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. He currently consults privately from both the Perth Metropolitan and Peel Regions.

A graduate of the University of Western Australia, Doctor Pocklington completed a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine degree followed by a Doctorate of Clinical Podiatry. Upon gaining a fellowship with the Australian Association of Podiatric Surgeons (AAPS), Doctor Pocklington was fortunate enough to spend time advancing his skillset, training in the latest advancements and modern procedures throughout Canada and the United States, including, world-renowned facilities such as the ‘Atlanta Foot and Ankle Centre’. His interests include minimally invasive forefoot reconstructive procedures.

He currently holds an academic position as a senior lecturer at the University of Western Australia and is actively involved in training the next generation of podiatric surgeons.

Outside of podiatry, Dr Pocklington is a keen athlete and a former player of both the Subiaco Lions and Claremont Football Club. He enjoys maintaining a healthy balance of social, academic and outdoor interests.

As a Specialist Podiatric Surgeon and Sports Podiatrist, Dr Pocklington understands the importance of maintaining both function and mobility. His dual qualification enables him to offer surgical and conservative solutions for a range of foot conditions. Dr. Pocklington is dedicated to providing a service with compassion and diligence and looks forward to your next appointment with him.
