Amruta Lakkoju

Amruta Lakkoju graduated from a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2022 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in 2019. She is furthering her studies by completing a Graduate Certificate in Public Health at Griffith University as well as starting a Graduate Certificate of Diabetes at Curtin University.

Amruta is passionate about providing holistic care for her patients. She has a keen interest in the diabetic foot, including providing regular neurovascular assessments as well as ulcer management. She also enjoys managing biomechanical cases and overuse injuries such as plantar fasciitis, neuromas and various tendinopathies. She undertook her placements at Royal Perth Hospital, Fiona Stanley and St John of God Midland Outpatient Podiatry, providing her ample time to develop her long term patient management skills. She also undertook a placement at Carousel Podiatry where she is currently providing services. She served as a Sports trainer for Ballajura Football club and has carried over her experience to Carousel Podiatry.

Amruta has always been passionate about podiatry and strongly believes that healthy feet are vital to maintaining a happy and healthy lifestyle!
